10/08-2018 16:32:07: (KOG) Information regarding individual items prior to KONGSBERGs reporting of 1st half year 2018

Information regarding two items which affects the company's results for 2nd
quarter

Costs related to acquisitions

KONGSBERG announced 6 July 2018 signing of an agreement to aquire Rolls-Royce
Commercial Marine. In relation to this acquisition and other M&A activities it
has in 2nd quarter incurred total costs of NOK 79 million in the segment
"other".

Costs related to a single project in Kongsberg Maritime

In 2nd quarter it has incurred NOK 50 million in excess of expected costs
related to a single solution delivery. The costs are related to delays in the
project in addition to higher customization and development cost than estimated.

KONGBSBERG will announce results for 1st half year 2018 on Friday 24 August. The
half year report and presentation will be available on www.newsweb.no at 7 am,
and it will be a presentation in Vika Atrium conference center at 0815 am. The
presentation will also be webcasted.
